ArtEasy Studios’ workshops and events

I recently started Arteasy, with my best friend from daycare - with our first studio located in the town where we grew up together. We began this project as two young adults, wanting to to bring essential art opportunities to the community. We kept it simple - making Art easy. Easy to access, and easy to self express. For kids just beginning, and adults looking to rekindle their creativity. For young artists just beginning their journey - to providing support for exploration and learning. For this grant, we’d like to focus on a specific concept. Supporting teen artists - in their creative endeavors. We’d like to offer free and low cost events - networking, galleries, performances, mentorship, and workspaces. Provide a pipeline in which to support their entrance into the marketing of their brand. The first four month project we’d like to do is to gather a network of teen creatives, and give them the space to interact. Give them the space and resources to explore their creative medium, absent of burdening the costs associated. We’d host a series of workshops featuring skills building exercises, socializing over food, and exploring their medium. We would then reflect in order to create the design of the next four month project. We will start small - to build a functioning, collaborative unit of young artists, and then subsequently expand activities and programs based on the deliverables of this first project.
